How to Use This Tool
A watermark marks a document as a draft, confidential, or yours. Fixlytools adds a text or image watermark to your PDF in your browser, with control over size, colour, opacity, angle and pages.
- Upload Your PDF: Click "Choose PDF File" or drag a PDF onto the box.
- Set Your Watermark: Type the text, then adjust size, colour, opacity and angle. To use a logo instead, clear the text and choose a PNG or JPG image.
- Pick Placement and Pages: Place one watermark in the center or repeat it across the page. Leave the pages box empty for every page, or type a range.
- Download: Click "Add Watermark & Download" to save the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use Urdu, Arabic or Chinese text?
Not as text. The built-in PDF font covers Latin letters, so other characters would become a question mark. Make an image of your text and use it as an image watermark instead.
Can I add a logo?
Yes. Choose a PNG or JPG file under 15 MB. PNG images with transparent areas keep their transparency.
Can the watermark be removed afterward?
The watermark is drawn on top of the page content and is not locked. Someone with PDF editing software may be able to remove it, so do not rely on it for security.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Type pages such as 1-3, 5 in the pages box. Leave it empty to mark every page.
Will it make my PDF larger?
Slightly. Text adds very little. An image is stored once and reused on each page, so a small logo adds little but a large image adds more.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Everything is done in your browser and the file never leaves your device. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed.
