How to Use This Tool

Scanned or exported PDFs sometimes come out sideways or upside down. Fixlytools lets you turn the whole document, or only some pages, and saves the result as a new PDF.

  1. Upload Your PDF: Click "Choose PDF File" or drag a PDF onto the box.
  2. Choose the Rotation: Pick 90 degrees clockwise, 180 degrees, or 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Leave the pages box empty to rotate every page.
  3. Rotate Only Some Pages (Optional): Type page numbers such as 1-3, 5 in a rule. Use "Add another rule" to turn other pages by a different amount.
  4. Download: Click "Rotate & Download" to save the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

Key Features

  • Whole Document or Selected Pages: Rotate every page, or only the page numbers and ranges you type.
  • Different Turns for Different Pages: Use several rules, for example pages 1-2 clockwise and page 5 upside down, in one go.
  • Content Is Not Re-Drawn: The tool changes the rotation setting of each page, so text, images and layout are not re-processed.
  • Works With Already Rotated Pages: A page that is already rotated is turned from its current position, so results are what you see.
  • Free and Private: No account and no upload. The work happens in your browser and your file stays on your device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does rotating reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Only the page rotation setting changes. Text, images and fonts are left as they are.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Type the page number in the pages box, for example 3, and choose the rotation.

Can different pages be rotated by different amounts?

Yes. Click "Add another rule" and give each rule its own pages and rotation.

What happens if two rules include the same page?

The rotations add up. For example 90 degrees plus 90 degrees gives 180 degrees. If they cancel out completely, the tool tells you nothing would change.

Can I rotate a password-protected PDF?

No. Protected PDFs cannot be opened by this tool. Remove the password first, then try again.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is done in your browser and the file never leaves your device.
