Drag the signature to move it and pull the round handle to resize it. This adds your signature as an image. It is not a certified digital signature with a certificate or timestamp.
How to Sign a PDF Online
You do not need to print, sign and scan a document any more. Create your signature once, put it on the page and download the signed PDF, all without uploading the file anywhere.
- Upload your PDF: Click "Choose PDF File" and select the document you need to sign.
- Create your signature: Draw it with your mouse or finger, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a photo of your signature.
- Place it: Go to the right page, drag the signature to the signing line and resize it with the round handle or the size slider.
- Download: Choose whether to sign this page, the first or last page, or every page, then press "Sign & Download PDF".
Key Features
- Three ways to sign: Draw with a finger or mouse, type your name in a signature style, or upload an image of your handwriting.

- Works with rotated pages: The signature lands where you placed it, even on landscape or rotated pages.

- Free and private: No sign-up and no upload. Your document and signature stay in your browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF or my signature uploaded anywhere?
No. The signature is created and placed in your browser and the signed PDF is built on your device. Nothing is sent to a server or saved, and your signature disappears when you close or reload the page.
Is the signature legally binding?
This tool places an image of your signature on the document, like signing a printout and scanning it. Whether that is accepted depends on who asks for the signature and on the rules where you live, so check their requirements. Documents that need a certified digital signature use a certificate and have to be signed with specialist software.
Can I sign more than one page?
Yes. Under "Add the signature to" choose every page, the first page or the last page. The signature keeps the same relative position and size on each page.
Can I move or resize the signature after placing it?
Yes, as often as you like before downloading. Drag it, pull the round handle, use the size slider, or select it and use the arrow keys and the plus and minus keys.
Which image types can I upload?
PNG, JPG and WEBP. Leave "Make the white background transparent" ticked so only the ink is placed on the page.
Can I sign a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password first, then upload the unlocked file.
